Youth Internships
Each year, the CFS-BC workshop provides up to 25 young Canadians with hands-on training and opportunities in IT. Students work with computer technology, develop valuable skills through teamwork and project work and gain experience toward future careers. Through HRSDC’s Youth Employment Strategy we provide recent graduates from technology programs with their first job experience. The workshop also provides the opportunity to mentor highschool students completing their one week CAP placement for highschool graduation requirements and along side many other community volunteers.
Hiring is done throughout the year as needed, with traditionally higher in-take of youth in April and September. We welcome your interest in starting your career with Computers for Schools. Please review the eligibility requirements and then forward a resume and cover letter to wjohnson@cfsbc.ca.
