Our vision is for a province-wide community where all learners have access to current information and communications technology, to encourage active participation in their education, knowledge and life-long learning skills.
Values
Education:
- We value the opportunity for all students to access computer technology to enhance their learning, knowledge base, and skills set.
- We will strive to deliver quality reuse equipment which meets the needs and requirements of our client schools and not for profits.
Youth:
- We value the creative energy that youth inspire and will assist them with quality paid work opportunities to both utilize their skills and formal training, enhance their personal education and provide a healthy work environment.
- We encourage and support our youth technicians in finding permanent full time jobs in their chosen field of study.
Environment
- We value the Pollution Prevention Hierarchy and always strive to maintain a viable, quality computer reuse organization.
- We value the Basel Convention and will not export computer equipment outside of BC.
- We value our local environment and strive to create as little garbage as possible in our operations.
People
- We value the health and welfare of our staff and volunteers who deliver this program and will strive to make this a progressive and fulfilling place of employment.
- We value our donors and promise to respect their confidentiality by effectively wiping, or shredding their hard drives to protect the integrity of their organization, and our own.
